Asphalt Rubber Chipseal

Utilizing recycled crumb rubber from used vehicle tires, blended with liquid asphalt binder; this hot applied Stress-Absorbing-Membrane seals and protects existing, aging and vulnerable pavements. Asphalt Rubber functions as an elastic layer, bridging fractured pavement with a waterproof layer while remaining flexible even during temperature extremes.
Chip Seals utilizing Asphalt-Rubber is ideal for higher volume roadways that require high performance with minimum disruption traffic. Unlike conventional emulsion based products, Asphalt-Rubber can be swept, line-striped and returned to normal traffic the same day.
By not only improving the material, Asphalt-Rubber makes use of a difficult to manage waste product, that would otherwise likely end up in a landfill.
Asphalt-Rubber Chip Seals can recycle nearly 8 Tons per mile, that's nearly 500 passenger car tires!
